How to Set Up Verification
The Verification module allows users to verify their identity via Roblox. To set it up, configure the module in the /config
command and select a channel where the verification embed will be sent.
Once configured, users will be able to click a button in the verification embed to verify their Roblox account. If their Roblox account is not linked, they will be prompted to link it.
Steps to Configure Verification
- Run the
/config
command and navigate to the Verification settings. - Select the channel where you want the verification embed to be sent.
- Save the settings.
Once configured, users will see a verification message in the designated channel with a button to initiate the verification process.
What Happens When a User Clicks the Verification Button?
- If the user’s Roblox account is linked: The bot will grant the selected roles to the user and remove any roles specified during the configuration.
- If the user’s Roblox account is not linked: The bot will prompt the user to link their Roblox account before they can be verified.
Configurable Roles
During the configuration process, you will select the following roles:
- Roles to Grant: The roles the user will receive once verified.
- Roles to Remove: The roles that will be removed from the user upon successful verification.
Make sure you select the correct roles to be granted and removed during the verification process to ensure the system works smoothly.
Verification Process
Users will click a button in the verification embed to verify via Roblox. If they have their account linked, they will be granted roles; if not, they will be asked to link their Roblox account.
